My names is Dave "Rock" Cowles. I am a caricaturist, graphics artist, and web site designer located in
Spartanburg, South Carolina.

I specialize in what I call 3D caricatures. These are more of a digital sculpture than anything else, but they are
very unique and popular. I also do short animations with them.

Until fairly recently it's has been rare for me to do non-3D Caricatures for years, but I have taken it back up. I am very happy
with the rapid progress I have been making trying different mediums, software, styles, and techniques.
The fine folks on the National Caricaturist Network forum are awesome and have been inspirational,
supportive, and fun.

I don't do live events because I feel I can generally get much better results in the safety of my studio taking
more time and adding better accuracy for a better likeness and more humor.

That might change before too long.

Below are some much older caricatures I did while working at a car dealership, Dick Brooks Chevrolet, now Farrell Chevrolet.
These were hand drawn, scanned, relined and colored about nine years ago.
